Yours now, or what did you get called at school, any good ones you know, however merciless,

Mine was, and is, imaginatively Jacko, also had various once based on it like Spacko, Wacko, briefly Rambo when at college as I had a Camo sleeping bag.

Good ones at school were "sttaker", a lad whose surname was Whittaker, who shat himself lavishly on several occasions.

"Da Baboon", a kid who tunred up one day, he looked a bit Simian so when being introduce someone shouted, "EEETS A BABOON" which stuck,

Brass - for a lad with extraordinarily red hair

Tefal - not a massive forehead as is customary, but he had a drain from his head due to some condition, there was an advert at the time for Tefal pressure cookers that went "Dweet Dweet Pressure head", so he got called Tefal.

Bonehead - he christened "Da Baboon" and also the Jewish lad he called, inexplicably, "Jeffrey the jumping Jew of Jerusalem".

Tackle Bag, A teacher who was allegedly caught in flagrante with a Tackle Bag.

Spock, A teacher with an uncanny likeness to Leonard Nimoy, and didnt really mind it, he explained once when I asked him about it, he just said "Well I do look like Spock, worse things to look like, and I do like Star Trek"

Deebs, a mate of mine, no idea why he was called that.

Darbs, a slim lad who developed a love for Kebab meat and chips every lunchtime and quickly developed a "Darby Kelly", i.e. belly.

Tractor, got it in high school and it still sticks in that group of mates

Long story short, two of them got a bit irked that occasionally people would mix their names up, so in revenge decided to mix my name (Victor) with another mate, Bart, hence i got called Bactor, Tractor was only a single small step away.

Have gotten several plastic tractors for my B-day, and still get referred to as such, dont mind it at all (except for the first few weeks when i tried to resist, which off course only made the rest all the more determined to make it stick)

A guy in our footy team was called village.

One fella in our crowd we called slug. Big lad that slept in a ditch one night a was witnessed crawling out of it in the morning like a slug.

We had some twins at school, one set were called Div and Boghead for reasons unknown, the other were called the Rats as they were a bit rodenty.

My mate Chris got called Gahndi as he was a bit browner than the average British Schoolboy, then there was Beaker as he had a long thin head with a look of the Muppet of the same name.

Pieman, as I am of a portly disposition and do love a pastry based snack. Once proudly sporting the legend on the back of my rugby training top at uni

Pieman
Sponsored by Leon's kebabs

Obviously playing team sports there are many. Tiny being the obviously 7ft second row, Dogs (his surname was Haycock - Haycock...Dogs' cock), Tank, Butch, Four shirt Kurt - the list is endless

Current favourite is a guy I play rugby with who bought a merc convertible and thus labelled a hairdresser and is now known as Frankie Scissorhands hehe

Not school but where I worked once.

Dafty - He was daft and a bit of a Walt. Not stupid, but daft.

Bison - He had a giant head and no neck - looked like a Bison.

Dab Face - Eyes very close together and not on the same level.

Page 7 - Good looking young chap like a male model after the Sun's Page 7 fella

Tackleberry - Gun Nut

Bobby - Had a bad comb over

The Prince aka The Prince of Daftness. Was daft and his real name was Christopher Lee. He'd been to Elevenerife.

Porky - A fat bloke, became shop foreman then The Fat Controller

The storeman was called Torquemada - He liked storing things and not giving them out. If you asked for something from stores, you got the Spanish Inquisition as to why you wanted it.

Tommy - Dead spit for Tommy Cooper.

Dog Face - he liked licking girls back bottoms when he went down on them.

Crispy - very scruffy looking bloke. Someone said he looked like a big crispy sperm stain left behind on the sheets.

Stig - after Stig of the Dump - another scruffy dirty looking fecker.

Brundle - Looked just like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly

I'm sure there's a lot more if I could remember them.

As for me, I was called "The Happy Eater"

This came about from a wet the babys head night for my daughter and I disappeared to the khazi for a tactical chunder, passed out and the lads found me on the floor with my fingers jammed down my throat.

They said I looked like this biggrin

J4ckos mate on here, my mate Derek had a mate at school with one eye higher than the other so he got called Eisiah.

Need a good one for a mate who has legendary toenails, we have joked about them for years, lost touch for years and now are keeping in touch and the toenails came up as a joke, but today he had to go to a and e as he had split his big toe nail and had to have it cut off under gas and air, honestly, about 2cm of nail was cut off, so need a good toenail related nickname to christen him with

Dr frankentoe was my poor effort.

"Barnesy" as apparently, I look like John Barnes.

I've supposedly looked like him for almost 30 years now, and yes I know both the England rap & Anfield rap off by heart due to the amount of requests I've had hehe

Some geeky lads at school named one geeky girl 'Tick Tac Tits'.

They grew up to be... geeks. She grew up to be a globe trotting model. She is absolutely stunning, and a genuinely lovely person.

Hard to bear, fellas.

My brother in law got called "Gettis", he was a bit chubby and had moobs apparently so it was an abbreviation of "Get His Tits", we did him a spoof compilation CD one year for Christmas and called it "Gettis Hits"

At school there was a lad nicknamed Errol. His surname was not Flynn and nor was he called Robin.

At university we had Big Steve and Little Steve. Both were called Steve and yes, you've guessed it, one was big and one was little. The names were used the correct way round so Big Steve was indeed tall. Another bloke was just called Big. He was quite short but fat. He had grown up living above his parents' chip shop.

A few that spring to mind from school days

Spaz - had a perpetual eye twitch
Smiler - lovely lad but always looked like he was scowling
Smax - short for smackhead, he was always taking vitamin pills, powders & potions
Long John - a little short lad who broke his leg playing rugby and was on crutches for a while. The name stuck.
Shorty - normal in stature but had a testicle removed due to some medical problem, so was one nut short
Nails - claimed to be a martial arts master even though there was no evidence of this, ergo hard as

In fact, I can hardly remember anybody at school who wasn't nicknamed.

I played in goal and was called the cat. For years I thought this was a compliment on my speed, grace and agility. Turns out it was because I gave the back four kittens.
