Following on from the "how often do you go in your spare room" thread, it struck me that I've never been in the back of my car. Or the back of my last 3 cars.
Does anyone ever go in the back seats of their car?

Is this a subtle way of asking "how often do you go dogging?"

My cars a Campervan so obviously I'm in there all the time. I did go in the back of my previous car recently (we still have that car but my Mrs has it now) which was quite weird, first time in 11 years of ownership.

Normally only when i buy it, to see if an adult would comfortably fit in the back

I did sit in the back with my dad next to me this weekend, was showing the car, and the kids had conquered the front seats.

At that point i found out i had already enabled the kiddy-locks on the rear doors hehe

I used to own a Renault 5 gt turbo. On a couple occasions I'd driven to the pub and had 2 pints I used to let my sister drive us all home. I sat in the back and told her to red line it. Those things were funny fast for such a cheap car. I liked sitting in the back.

I don't think I've ever traveled in it, usually just to clean the seat and vacuum out daughters Baby seat of lost pom bears.

Once in the back of our TT. Actually not quite once - 0.5 times as half of my body was still outside the car and I could only fit one size 13 shoe in the footwell. I gave up.

I had one too. Happy days. It combined a reasonable amount of power with the unnerving feeling of being in a car made out of a body shell about as substantial as a large cardboard box.

I've had my car just over a year now and I've not been in the back. I feel weird in the passenger seat of it. I have been in the back of previous cars though, when someone else has volunteered to drive home after a night out.

In 14 years I don't think I have ever sat in the back of my car. I occasionally open the rear doors to put the seats down if carrying large/long items.

Surely no self-respecting PHer would go in the back as they go faster with the rear seats folded flat wink

Is it bad that my first thought was to refer to dogging as well?
