Any stamp collectors on PH?

[grenpayne]

My wife has been given her late grandfather's stamp collection, which has been sitting around for a few years since his death and which my Mother-in-law has said she'd be happy for us to sell to a good home. It's something he kept up for most of the years he was alive and as such covers around 8 large books and contains stamps going back to the 1800s from virtually every country in the world.

Clearly, I could just shove the whole lot on eBay but I'd prefer it to be looked over properly to see exactly what's in there. I know next to nothing about stamps so any advice as to where we start?

I'd be interested in this too. Plus I have a load of old vinyl (78's old, not Genesis old)

I collect tramp stamps...

Failing that, email Bonhams, Philips, Christies and Sotherbys and go from there.

I would get the collection checked over.
