I had £300+ worth of varying sizes of women's clothing dropped on my doorstep one day. It was fraud attempt using a credit account opened in my name using my DoB and address. They tried to change the delivery address at the last minute but it was already on the way so it arrived with me. I assume the police will have knocked on the door of the second address.

Open it and get the delivery note and invoice from inside to see who's sent it , and why...

(Oh, and gratuitous insult as required based on previous)

I'd be straight on Experian or similar. I bet some sod has opened a credit card or similar to your address...

Thought I would ask again as the postman always rings twice.

Which was left at my back door while I was out. It's got my address on but not my name, and it's not something I've ordered. I've tried to find a phone number for the person it's addressed to and searched the Electoral Register, both return no results. I've phoning the courier, but they have no record of the number on the delivery slip they put through my letter box.

Can I now just bin it and pretend it never arrived?
