What do your teenage daughters have on their walls?
Discussion
Potentially a bit creepy - but what the hell

I decorated the house teenagers pit 18 months ago - shes 15 now
During the decorating process all of her cutesy stuff was stripped from the walls - think puppy posters, photos of family from years ago and some Disney stuff
Since then Ive been gently suggesting that she gets some posters or pictures but has resolutely refused - presumably because I keep telling her to
Now first off I wont, well probably wont, but have been thinking of just shoving some stuff on the walls myself but have little idea what cultural references todays kids have. In my day it was easy - a Lambo, that woman scratching her arse on a tennis court, Paul Simonon trashing his bass (London Calling) and that bloke holding a baby for the girls.
The issue slightly complicated as she hates anything to do with boy bands and although she's into metal a Brian Johnson poster just seems wrong now he's almost 70
Cheers!
Whatever you do don't put anything up that you may think she will like, no matter how much of a cool dad you think you are; a) you aren't and b) in her eyes you are an embarrassing waster with no idea.
Why are you bothered about a lack of decoration in her room, let her put up what she wants, if she doesn't want to put anything up then so be it.
My youngest is 17, we re-did her room a few years ago and she has never had posters up, posters are for early teens and our generation.
Leave her to it.

In that case you must not under any circumstances buy anything for the walls that are 'heavy metal' related. I've been into rock and heavy metal since I was 8 and I am still (at 34) a really fussy b*stard with stuff like that. To the point where my other half wouldn't even buy me a t-shirt with a band on that she knows I love because I may or may not like it.
The fact that you referenced AC/DC as a metal band probably says a lot hahaha. That's not a dig by any means (I have a massive DC flag up in my man cave) but she could be into all sorts of stuff that many would deem as heavy metal.
