You've got £10,000 and no baggage ie marriage, kids, mortgage or responsibility.

What would you do? Would you take the money and run away to start a new life or maybe move to a really cheap part of the world and live like a king for a while?

This. Or improve the house, upgrade the car, take a couple of really good holidays. 10k doesn't go that far.

£10,000 isnt that much.... but you can put it to good use.

1. Buy some premium bonds say £5k.

2. go somewhere for a once in a life time holiday.....

I remember an interviews with Micheal Winner where he said if someone stripped him naked and put him in the street with a million pounds he would kill himself.

A nice holiday and put the rest away for a rainy day. 10k seems a lot but you never know what's around the corner.

You will spend nearly all you earn on accommodation in Japan / Korea. Not met any Tefl teachers who have worked on South Sea islands.

Try the Gulf. You'll need more than just Tefl though.

I was in this same situation in January aout 10 years ago. It was cold and wet in the UK so packed a small bag and flew to Rio. Then traveled overland to Argentina. Got as far south as Antartica...
