Having a small op today - its now 13.45 and i have been here since 7am, will be a few more hours yet.

Ive finished the book i brougt with me, read pistonheads numerous times, been on facebook and caught 5 pokemon.

Nobody wants to talk, room of 7 so just sitting here twiddling thumbs.

Its not just here though - traffic jams, waiting for the kids/wife to get ready, waiting for meetings. Am I just getting old and miserable?

If you're having the snip you could knock one out to pass the time. The 'old chap' might not be up for much for a few days after seeing a hot wire in close proximity.

Haven't got time to write a proper reply. Are you ok to hang on for a bit until I can respond in full?

Be grateful, they might be practising.

Not being that way inclined, it feels weird when another man holds your cock - even a surgeon.

I was very grateful for the nurse holding my hand during the op, very comforting.

The also made a big deal after the op about not being able to stand, wasnt a problem for me.

By wednesday you will feel like you have had a kick in the bollix from one of the children, not such a big deal.

It didn't bother me when I had my tackle examined. TBH any medical exam of any part of the undercarriage area is unpleasant regardless of who's doing it, and so far removed from, erm, recreational contact that the fact that it's a man is neither here nor there. YMMV, and all that.

Then again I have sat naked on a plastic chair in a shower when 2 broken arms and multiple other injuries meant that I needed a nurse to get showered. Once you've done that once or twice, you start to lose hangups about who's seen what.

I think I was lucky, I was the other way round. I received an appointment with 2 days of requesting via GP, an initial review appointment then straight into doing the deed and was out in 45 mins. So before I could think about it it was all done!

It all happened so fast I forgot I'd got tickets to an AC/DC concert the next day after, but the pain that everyone said would arrive did not, so I thought I would risk it and I was fine. My post op treatment was a couple of nur0fen plus, a bag of ice held down my shorts for the afternoon after the op, and then two pairs of V tight pants for a week or so.

It's not something I'd like to repeat, I had 5 mins at home of feeling sorry for myself then my wife listed all the stuff she had to put up with for having 2 children, which shut me up.

Best of luck - it'll soon be over! thumbup

It was more the smell caused by the hot wire that bothered me.

Mmm whats that cooking smell?

My logical at the time was well they wouldn't be cooking full english at Marie Stopes, so it must be my plums!

Ps recovery was fine, back to work the day after and after 30 or so emissions, I received the all clear and my certificate of Jaffa-ness.

While I was having it done the surgeon said "whoops". This did not fill me with confidence...

Sorry OP.

My surgeon was a 6ft tall stunning Russian surgeon, who barked orders at me in a faintly terrifying accent, I ignored her, letting her focus on the task at hand and chatted to the nurses at the other end.

I made everyone laugh with my retort, not one of my better decisions as the surgeon had pointy burny things near my nads.

6ft stunning Russian surgeon, I'd have needed numbing first hehe

I was in for, not the golden tap but a spine op. Beth, the neurosurgeon, came to see me just before the off. Our quick chat ended with her gripping my hand for half a sec. That made a big difference.

The next day, very tasty student nurse gave me a blanket bath. She made me do my own bits...mouldy chizz!

Same as you. If I want a car today I want it today. I have even rejected some that I cannot collect the same day.

Postage. If it does not arrive within 24 hours I am thinking it is lost in the post.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that runs out of internet really quickly.

Last time I was in hospital I had eye drops so couldn't even perv at the nurses walking by. I confided in the old boy sat next to me who took great pleasure in telling me every time I missed one worth seeing.
