I put some fly papers up in the garage recently and when taking it down and examining the dead flies I wondered what would draw me in to my death.
Being PH's forum I'm guessing a high revving NA V8 would lure many members from what they were doing and walk in that direction, before being hit on their head.
For me, it would be the sound of live music over that hill. I love to see someone make a note out of something they hit or strum.
What would be your downfall?

Oooh, great random thread to start the week.

I'm a bit (lot) of a nerd for old buildings. So some sort of little old folly/tower poking out of the trees, or maybe what looks like a bit of old industrial building.

Or attractive women in not much clothing, obviously.

women.

Although in terms of slightly less dangerous things than women, I used to do a lot of caving. Not something I'm likely to do again, but at the end of a trip you're always very relieved to get out: especially where you are doing linear trips- so descending down into a system and there is only one way out. (as oppose to bottoming a cave and going back out the same way)

why can't you go back- because you've pulled yr ropes down after you and you couldn't climb back up if you had to.

So you're hoping you can get through a flooded or partially flooded sump, there hasn't been a cave fall/collapse and so on.

If it really came to it, you hope that whomever you have left a message with, saying- if we're not out of "x" by say 10 pm and in the pub, call cave rescue, does do that.

Anyway I feel I've used my 9 lives up with that game, so that'll do. I highly recommend it though, its like being in outer space, exploring a planet !
