new shoes

Does anyone here hate driving in new formal shoes. First drive to work in them since back off holiday and it feels like I'm pressing the pedals with two blocks of wood and also like I'm abusing the car.

Cant feel the pedals through them. Old shoes although battered and holes in the bottom, I had almost fingertip feel with the pedals.

I know they will wear in. Feels like its going to be a bad day today!

Haha yes, i feel your pain! Its fine with a blunt automatic car but mines a manual with a light flywheel... it was interesting driving for the first few weeks when my shoes were new. Thankfully they have softened up a little now!

Puma Speedcats and changing shoes when you arrive is the answer. Saves buggering up the back of your decent shoes too.
