Meeting place - M54

Can anyone recommend a place to leave a car just off the M54? I'm heading to N Wales with a friend and need to change into one car and leave the other one there all day. I know services tend to limit time to a couple of hours.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I can't remember if there are, but if there is a place like a Holiday Inn at a service station or near by, you might be able to leave your car in one of their car parks for a small fee.

Just off junction 2 there is a little used road that runs adjacent to the A449. There is a sandwich van parked there and I'm not aware of any parking restrictions.

Theres a chain type pub at a place called tong at junction 3 where it would probably be safe (village location), service station junction 4 tends to be full of travellers avoid, town centre junction 5 with a few hotels but these have barriers cant think of anywhere on this one that would be ideal, 24hr tesco junction 6 on a retail park with maccys etc (probably where i would choose) Junction 7 has a residential area just down the road where you could probably dump it and it would probably be safe as its a fairly steady area.

There's a roundabout just outside Shrewsbury on the A5 with a Dobbies garden centre and Travelodge on the same site.

Yeah not technically the m54 anymore as it becomes the a5 but the above is probably the best shout so far

Dobbies is a good suggestion or further up the A5 at montford bridge picnic site.
