Adidas, Puma and Arena.....

Adolf Dassler's nickname was Adi, hence 'ADI' DASsler. He started a sports shoe company after the WW1. He fell out with his brother, Rudolf, who went to the other side of town across the river and started PUMA. Now, half the town work for Adolf and the other half for Rudolf.
Later Adolf Dassler's son, Horst Dassler went on to found Arena (swim wear).

GOODYEAR
Charles Goodyear started the tyre company.
His son, Charles Goodyear Jr. invented the Goodyear welt, a technique used in good quality shoes.

'Interesting' might be a stretch, but Fox Racing and Fox Factory are two distinct companies.

Fox Racing est 1974 - who ironically make Clothing, who's wears you might see on off-duty Motocrossers, tubby middle aged Mountain Bikers and Council Estate kids.

Whereas Fox Factory est 1980, make very nice, but very expensive suspension stuff for pretty much everything that people like to use to go fast off-road.

Occasionally called Fox Head and Fox Tail, it's another pair of companies owned by 2 Brothers, but these ones get on.

It may not be interesting to most, but oddly I was wondering the other day whilst cleaning the truck and seeing the Fox Shocks, whether it had any relationship to the company that makes my MX clothes. You have saved me a google search! smile
