There was a spate of this occurring around Reading about 12 years ago whilst I was at uni.

The best quote i recall from one person who saw it happen was 'well there was an awful lot of noise at 2am but I didn't think to call the police so I just watched'

The better quote came from the BBC website where someone watching said "I was trying to film it but I was shaking. Also, I was quite naked"

fking idiots. Mind you its people like this that keep me in a job.

One I dealt with they rammed a car through the security shutter of a convenience store. Tied wire rope around the ATM machine and tried to drive off with the machine. The machine was VERY well anchored and they got away with nothing, well maybe a mars bar or two. Made a bloody mess of the shop.
