Would you go to an event in Paris?
Discussion
Coldplay tour tickets go on sale today.
I thought that whilst going to see them me and the wife could stay in Paris for a few days too.
She said it is a definite no go due to what happened at the Bataclan and what happened in Nice. She thinks that something like a major music event such as that could be a target for ISIS.
I think people will choose to go to see them in other cities but there is a risk anywhere, just the risk in Paris seems a bit higher?
What are peoples thoughts on it?

I can get travel there for a small amount of money. Flights and hotels in Dublin are a silly price and Cardiff seems to be sold out of reasonably priced hotels. Paris doesn't seem much more and we'd get 3 days there.

The UK has been relatively good, whether through luck or judgement, at preventing these things. Either way though, the odds are so small it's not worth worrying about and if you do the b

"I will create Man" said God
"great' said all his helpers. 'But remember your founding principle of balancing everything"
God nodded sagely & said "I will create a Man who is wise, kind, generous, loving, treats all of his neighbours as equals & will be considered the World's natural diplomat'
"But what about the balance' cried the helpers in fear.
'Don't worry' said God.
"just wait until you see the Man I will create on the other side of the Channel in France"

I'd go without even giving it a second thought.
I wouldn't.Who the hell would want to go and see Coldplay?

I shall be doing a weekend in Paris at end of year; millions of times more likely to get hit by a car than shot by terrorists. The flight there is statistically much more dangerous.
