Agreed. I used to wear these in gold iridium, until they stopped supporting them. Now moved onto Whiskers. Great shades.

I still have a pair of these! The lenses are getting a bit shabby so I just use them when in my tractor. Do Oakley still make the lenses for them? Are they getting 'collectable' yet so I could sell them on and get back my initial outlay from ~18yrs ago?

Contact Oakley, (unlikely) but they may have some parts still for certain colours. The lack of lenses were the reason I stopped wearing them, but Oakley offered me a pair of Whiskers in the same colours./lense combo, massively discounted to about £40. One thing to note from past experiences with them, is their customer service is absolutely stellar.
Good luck.

By coincidence I've just given a pair of those to a good friend, they'd been in the drawer for years unused.

Looking on eBay they seem to be going for £50-£100 so you wouldn't make much OK the initial outlay.

I looked for my xmetal ruby juliets and they seem to be double the price I paid for them just for the normal versions and collectors will pay quite a bit more for one's linked to the x men movie with low serial numbers.

I think I paid around £100 for them so getting even half that back after that time and a lot of use is pretty good! I'll give Oakley a call on Monday and see if I can get new lenses for them. It won't be long and they'll be 'retro.' I replaced them as my every day shades with some Z wires (I think that's what they were called) with bloody expensive pewter frames but were never as comfy as the 'A's.

Go down your local builders merchants or branch of Screwfix, you can get protective glasses at around a fiver a pair. All made to proper BS and EU spec.

Don't go there. Because I'm getting old and short sited I need glasses for work (I've got an engineering machine shop.) Where I need safety glasses I've just had to splash out a tidy sum on special ones that have prescription lenses in. They frankly look ste too but at least I can see with them!
