Sainsbury's gift card scam?

Hi all, I received a whatsapp message purportingly from s customer urging me to click on a link to receive a gift card worth £100. It is probably a scam, so how do I stop the barstards accessing my contacts list? They have all received messages supposedly from me now 😟

I received this yesterday and didn't click the link, No one has had messages from me...

Be smart online, if something is too good to be true, it probably is....don't click links y9u don't know or your not expecting.. Easy.

and this is automotive related how? I smh whenever i see someone who's been on here for many months posting something non-car related into GG, the frequency is increasing too.
