Now im getting on a bit i often wonder how much I'd rather be 18 again even 18 and skint rather than have money but be old

What would you rather be, young and poor or old and rich and for arguments sake can we say 40 years old with £2 million in the bank compared to an 18 year old with zilch

40's hardly old. Or are you only 15, just got in from school and just killing time before tea?

I'll be an 18 yr old, skint, knowing that in 22 years time he will be a double millionaire. Thanks.

i remember little about being 18. I am relatively sure that I don't feel any better or worse being in my 40s and there's no way I'd want to be a teen these days so I'll go for rich now.

I was young and skint. Now I am old and skint. The rich bit seems to have passed me by.

I would only want to go back to being 18 if I could go back to the time I was 18. I would not want to be 18 again now, facing the next 60 years or so irrespective of how much or little money I had.

So I suppose that make it old and not do rich for me.

at 18 you still have the chance of possibly being rich . no matter how remote , the possibilty is there . you can never be young again , probably smile

Only if I could return to when I was 18, otherwise I'll stick with what I have now smile

You can get richer but you can't get younger.

Is that an 18 year old 20 stone spod who hangs around games workshop and has body odour that makes your nose hairs burn or a handsome, socially normal and well balanced one ?

I think I enjoyed 40 more than 18 as well like Swerni.

I'm 42 and skint so I'd happily be 18 and skint! If someone said I could have £10m or rewind ten years and take one lesson with me that I've learned in the last ten years, I'd take the rewind in a heartbeat.

I'm 46, skint due to divorce, child maintenance, mortgage and all the bills on one income.

If I was 46 with 2m in the bank I'd be blowing it on coke, hookers, fast cars and holidays around the world where I could spend it on more coke and hookers.

edited to add I've never done coke nor hookers and fast cars, can someone lend me 2m?

Young and skint please. I can think of a lot of things I could do with two million but none of them could equal what I could do with 22 extra years.
