Is the card not saying he hs left it in your postbox?

Maybe he was worried you wouldnt look in the garage and be worried about a non delivery.

Unless i am being daft i dont see the problem!

You need another brass plaque on the other door saying "Please do not leave leaflets wedged in door".

Commission another plaque. Something along the lines of: "Actually, the house isn't empty. The angry mob is upstairs so you'd better run away."

I know gypsies drive round looking for city link cards to rob the house and steal the dogs, so you were lucky op.

In the interests of balance, I must state that having forwarded the picture to Interlink's CEO, I have today received separate apologies from both the local Interlink franchise owner and from the driver concerned.
I hope you can put this stressful incident behind you now they've said sorry.

It's an age old trick to allow them to bum you senseless! Your best bet is to get upstairs and dominate your staircase.

Be thankful your driver made it to your front door.

I saw this yesterday morning.

I work on a site that had 3000 people working on it, it also has 24 hour security on site in a large gatehouse and a post room that is manned by three people during normal work hours.

Thursday lunchtime we received an email from interlink saying that they were sorry that no one was in to sign for the parcel. going on their tracking web site showed a picture of the main sign from the other side of the roundabout, the main sign is approx. 50m from the gate house. They were nowhere close and never bothered trying to deliver it, a drive by photo at best!

We think that the courier saw the queue that is normally there to enter the factory next door, and thought sod joining that queue and drove off.

On ringing them up they couldn't give a toss and were quite rude. saying that they would "try" again tomorrow (seeing as they couldn't manage the first time when it should have been impossible not to deliver it - we sent someone in a pool car to their depot to collect it) - this has happened several times with interlink. no other courier has ever had trouble delivering here.

This is Amazon's carrier delivering to my front door. For the avoidance of doubt, it's the one to the left of the picture. He didn't even try to ring the bell.

Worst one I had, (TNT dropping £500 worth of Oak flooring off the back of their truck then lying about it aside) was an Amazon package left in the half inch gap between my planter boxes and the house. Not a huge issue in itself, but the card was completely illegible, so I searched everywhere for it and had just about given up when I thought to look in the least obvious place I could imagine.

They usually find a creative way of leaving things round the back, so I focused my efforts on the bins round there. I've never had an issue with left parcels and I'm grateful that I don't have to go out to retrieve them myself. Does always make me laugh how they're left though as they're usually hidden under something right next to my unlocked outside toilet.

DPD are the best, if you get yourself on their app, register your email and phone number, orders with those details will track on the app and you can control where they're left, including adding pictures.

I can't see the OPs pictures at work, so can't comment on the specifics, but there's a couple of anecdotes to go with the general tone of the thread.

Sometimes it might be better if the delivery failed. This bloke in the photograph below was delivering a car battery which was full of acid, of course. Look closely...
