How can someone get my Email via Ebay?

[227bhp]

Yesterday I made a cheeky low offer via the 'Make me an offer' (AKA 'Would you like to take the piss') feature on an Ebay item and had the usual counter offer in return. This morning I had an email direct from the vendor to my email (not via Ebay) asking if i'd like to do business with them direct. How is this possible?

Do you sell? If you do you have the "contact details" tab on all auctions which shows:
Address
Phone number
Email
VAT number
LTD Co number

[Sump]

We use a third party messaging app where any buyer that asks us a question or makes an offer reveals up their contact number, address and direct email address.

No I don't, I think Sump has the answer though!
