Nice photos, but there is almost no text. I expected and would have liked some background info about the culture, atmosphere, history, architecture and aesthetic ideals that led to these amazing bus stops. The book contains a collection of photos of bus stops, absolutely nothing else.

I'm clearly a complete fking weirdo because I actually quite like the look of that Soviet Bus Stops book.

I can imagine some of the most creative minds of their time, stifled by an authoritarian Communist regime bursting to express themselves somewhere, anywhere possible and coming up with some quite amazing designs for the most utilitarian of structures.
