Anybody ever ordered anything online thats arrived and been arguably correct but certainly not what was expected?


wife used an online app to order pizza last night.......
asked me if I wanted chips/fries with it and I said yes....
She clicked on chips as an "extra"
pizza box turns up, no other bags or boxes with chips,
when the delivery guy is questioned he says that the chips are "in with the pizza" as they were ordered as an "extra" with the pizza (?)
we then open the box to discover the pizza is made with the chips under the cheese as part of the pizza.... bolognaise pizza with chips sticking through the cheese (the chips had burned where they stood through the the pizza by the way!)
a lesson learned and will not be ordered again!

Not sure I can take a culinary complaint seriously from someone who orders chips as a side to a pizza. Did you have a bread roll with it too?

I liked the true story about the guy who phoned the pizza shop to complain that they had sent him a pizza that had no topping at all, just a plain pizza bread base.

Although some of the posts following seem to suggest its a Northern thing, judging by the gravy and roll comments, its aptly named a 'london pizza' up in the North (Chips pizza)

Removing thick swarf on a lathe with your fingers whilst it's still running. Looked like my finger had been rammed through one of those green bean slicers a few times.
