A friend wants to take some pictures of the Christmas Lights in Central London whilst there is no, or very little traffic. There will be Go-Pros mounted on a car.

Are they on at 6am in the morning and what are the best locations?

What Christmas lights? Most of them are in pedestrianised areas or roads that only busses can go down as far as I know. Didn't go down Regent street yesterday but drove from Limehouse up to china town and the only lights I saw were on my way through Bow on my way to get a kebab. Big wheelie thing was lit up with a whirley go round next to it.

You can do a trial run from your bedroom by finding a live webcam e.g. of Regent Street, Bond Street or Oxford Street and looking in at 6am. There are a few available and all those streets are drivable, although Oxford Street has restrictions during most of the normal day.
