my Subaru.
I know you are in reverse you damn thing - I put you into that gear myself.
NO NEED TO WAKE THE DAMN KIDS UP - BEEEEEEP

Microwaves - good grief, you've only had food in there for 30 seconds - BEEEP

washing machine - why would this device feel the need to BEEEP at the end of the program? we put you on at night so we dont have the noise during the day - BEEEEP BEEEP BEEEEP

I'd pay more for devices that were utterly silent

My works van is a nightmare.

Key is in ignition beep

Lights are on beep

I'm in reverse beep

Belt is not on beep (I have to jump in and out over yards sometimes)

You put handbrake on just before I had fully stopped so I think it's been put on on he move beep.

You've now stopped but as handbrake was already on I will continue to beep.

Bloody vivaro

It's the washing machine for me. Seems I'm the only one who hears it too.

You spent £50 on a kettle. FFS you deserve to be beeped at.

Samsung washing machines play a beepy tune when finished. Lasts about 30 seconds. Apparently you can turn it off but I prefer to let it annoy me smile

Our smoke alarms when the back up battery in getting flat.

I do appreciate being told, but not so much trying to work out which one of the three it is that needs replacing. They tend to carry on beeping for a bit even after I've replaced all three and reset them, and of course it only ever happens in the middle of the night.

Don't worry chap, I have the same kettle...it's not even a very nice beep

But it spectacularly eclipsed buy my wife's toyota Auris hybrid, in reverse it constantly beeps to tell you are moving backwards like some sort of dust cart. Our parking space is quite tight so you can also trigger rear and front parking sensors, so you have 3 different beeps going on at once. In theory you could then throw the key out of the window and it would beep another beep that the key is not detected (but I haven't done this yet as it that would be stupid)

I feel your pain. We have got 14 of the sodding things and two of them are 25 ft above the floor - we have very high ceilings in parts. Last year one went off and since they are all connected all of them went off in sympathy. Finding which one had failed meant inspecting every one, so a very big ladder was needed.

Bad enough going up a ladder that high anyway, but in the middle of the night with all those bd things wailing at full volume was no fun.

Tumble dryer.

When we first got it - it beeped at the end of its cycle, and if you don't go and turn it off, it beeps some more every 5 minutes to warn you that its still finished.

Then I discovered the "beep cancel" function - great!

only now, instead of beeping once, it does a spin every 10 minutes at full volume - so you can't leave it on of an evening and go to bed because it reminds you its finished. Damn thing - I know its finished because the noise has stopped you cretinous piece of junk.

The microwave/oven. beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep literally until you turn it off. I tested it once. It was still going 30 minutes later. fk off mate.

Nissan cars with the fob instead of a key. Press the ignition button once to check a few functions on the car. Press it again and it thinks you want to start it. Press it again to turn it off, it thinks you want to go back to step one again. fk it. beepbeepbeep beepbeepbeep beepbeepbeep. beepbeepbeep beepbeepbeep beepbeepbeep. shoot

In hindsight having read yours, I now feel somewhat better and perhaps my one would have been more appropriate in the 'first world problems' thread hehe

Zanussi washing machine and Zanussi tumble dryer. Both beep beyond reasonable beepingness!
