NYE texts, or is that old hat now?

As midnight approaches, will everyone be jamming up the networks with texts or is the preferred medium whatsapp and messenger?

I probably send about 1 text a month now.

I'll miss that, the problems with sending them at midnight, when everyone else is too and the system jams up.

I won't be sending texts or anything else and won't try sleep either as the fireworks will be going

off at random times from now 9.30 ish to the early hours.

The phone battery will probably be flat again by 24.00 hours...

Nope banned from sending texts, sat on my todd on NYE staying sober and not texting anyone if I know whats good for me, waiting for the Mrs to get back after being out with her mates.

Apparently I drunk texted my ex that I loved her and promising I wouldn't wasn't good enough so my phone is in her handbag

I'm just charging up the Nokia 3310 now but can't get predictive text to work, so I guess I'll have to send a postcard.
