Despite bad experiences in the past, and the frequent slatings on here, I had to go to Kwik Fit in Waterlooville this weekend.
SWMBO's SAAB had, what appeared to be, a slow puncture in a front tyre so I took it down in my car yesterday. I went down to pick it up today and they said that the tyre was fine but there was some corrosion on the rim around the bead area. They cleaned off the corrosion and put some rim seal on it.
For this work there was no charge! yikes
They could quite easily have fitted a new tyre and told me the old one was knackered but chose not to!
Also, my Volvo failed to start (turned out to be a naff crimp connector on the solenoid). Two of the guys from Kwik Fit saw my plight and came out to give me a push start!
Kwik Fit Waterlooville, I salute you! (And not with two fingers!)
