The photoshop Lewis Hamilton thread was popular - is anyone planning to indulge him by designing his helmet? Remember, it needs to be "dope"...

I am sure you'd agree that Mr Hamilton has turned into a bit of a helmet since he hit the big time. Contrast him with Jenson Button, who, by any measure and in any company is an all 'round good bloke.

Someone arty could do one of those word map concepts. You could start with the karting career, then as you go round the helmet from left to tight, progress to 2017.
Highlights would be youngest winner, world champion in big Bold 3 times - but you could also add in the personal little detrails too. Early doors you could have things like "middle class neighbourhood", " team with dad" etc then later "from the ghetto" and "supported by ice-t".
I'd call the design Ham-i-am. It would be dope.

Makes me laugh, because all we hear is how he's a tt and how F1 is so aloof and its not for the common man.

The guy reaches out to fans and interacts with them and all he gets here is abuse.

Its a bit pathetic to be honest. "ooo he used this word" "he got his hair cut!!!1111!!!!11" "what the feck is he wearing?" and so on.

You don't have to like the bloke, but the amount of vitriol / abuse / insults thrown around by jealous people is not warranted imho.

Will.i.am has extraneous punctuation in his name; his opinion is irrelevant.

I liked the scream inspired design that Jamie Whitham used. A version of this based on Bernie Ecclestone's head might be good:

All this!

Anyway, how about like Rossi

TBH Rossi has had probably close to a hundred distinct different designs over the years. It's something that sadly the current F1 rules don't allow the drivers that freedom

Ah yeah, that old trope where being Tim Westwood is a put down. I bet that internationally know and respected (in their respective fields) multi millionaire Tim Westwood (or Lewis Hamilton) are gutted. rofl

He's not , Tim Westwood has a sense of humour and isn't averse to taking the piss out of himself !
