Has anyone got a room to rent in London?

I'm returning to London after 18 months away tomorrow, and am really struggling to find a room to rent:

within 45 minutes of Covent Garden
about £450/month max

Has anyone got one?

You could head North... pick somewhere like St Albans?

Problem is that price is student budget so high competition... and those shared properties don't want non-students or they have to pay council tax?

I used to use moveflat.com and a quick look shows there are about 10 places across London on there for your budget.

Jesus, i just had a look on Spare Room where i advertise my room. What i charge a month barely gets you 2 weeks in London
