Meal and a few drinks last night. Mate who's in the throes of a divorce mentions his brother in law, then says 'well, soon to be ex brother in law'.

We queried why the aforementioned was about to become an ex brother in law...

'Because of the divorce!'

We gently explained to him that getting divorced shouldn't really change the relationship status of his sister's husband.

To be fair, he'd had a few, but still..
