I knwo there are some jewelers or people in the know, I'm just reviewing our insurance and wonder if someone can give me a very rough estimate of the cost of a platinum ring with a 1.22ct princess cut VS1F diamond set in it.

It's just so I can make sure I've got enough cover for it as a "specified item"

TIA

Most insurance will want a valuation won't they photos etc. Which will cost you circa £30 from a decent jeweller. Or you could ask Mr Hackett/Dom in the watches section.

Hi yes they've got the photos original bills of sale etc. etc. etc. and it's a "new for old" policy but we need to put a "max value" on it, obviously Mrs M says it's "Priceless" hurl
