Company Logo Fail

I'm sure we've had threads like this before but I couldn't find one.

Searching for something today turned up a fashon brand that I've not heard of before. I wondered if they paid somebody to design their logo, and if so, why that person hated them so much.

The F1 logo is clever, but it's arguably too clever.
I spotted it a while back but it's no immediately obvious and the fact that most people don't seem to notice means it's too clever for its own good.

I always thought the use of white space in the F1 logo was fairly obvious. The FedEx logo less so, which is why it's one of the most celebrated logos ever designed. A proper classic.
