Decent alternatives to eBay

Right, getting a bit fed up with the fees on ebay / paypal and the endless list of commercial listings.

What decent alternatives have people found for recycling old stuff and selling tech???

I've used Gumtree and Schlock but both are just as bad/much hassle as ebay tbh. I detest selling things privately; got a nearly-new bed and sofa up for sale at the moment through gumtree and all I've had it scam messages and people offering >50% of what I'm asking.
