We went to the Moulin Rouge Secret Cinema (the wife's dream) on Saturday and it was superb - I guess I would describe it as interactive theatre.

I won't spoil it for anyone planning on going but needless to say, I ended up in some situations and doing some acts I certainly was not expecting!

Anyone been to a previous one and what was it like?

28 days later.

It was brilliant, but i did feel like I was being fleeced of my cash at every opportunity, which galled a little when you consider the ticket price.

Friend of mine went to 28 Days Later and said he felt like he was getting his wallet out and having his pants pulled down a lot of the time.

I went to Moulin Rouge couple of weeks ago, absolutely amazing!

How so? I don't understand what it is.

In brief, a film is recreated at a secret location - key sets, am-dram actors play key characters and interact with you through out, songs are played and acted out, you get drunk and then are ushered into a large theatre where you watch said film while the am-dram cast act out scenes on stage.

I certainly didn't feel like I was being fleeced - drinks were average prices for London and given how much I enjoyed it, the ticket price (£69) was inconsequential.

They're not 'am-dram actors' they're paid professional actors.

You are of course correct and they were very good.

I was being facetious.
