You're not kidding, are you?

10. Main Street, Harworth.

Really, number 10 in a list of Britain's prettiest streets? confused

That's one of the ones I've not been to, quite pleased I didn't make the trip. biggrin
Edinburgh is perfectly pleasant, even handsome maybe, but pretty?

Can't help thinking there are prettier places than that huge ugly building in Stratford.

The Royal Mile in Edinburgh is not pretty. It has some nice old buildings but it's normally dark, wet and full of very odd arty people, drunk students and tourists.

A dubious list if ever I saw one.

How many of them are "prettier" than Castle Combe, for instance?

I've seen all but four of those.

Why isn't Wellyhole Street in Oldham and Gas Street in Bacup on the list?

Number 7, Elm Hill in Norwich is 10 mins away from where I live. What the picture on the Mail site doesn't show is that if you turned a little to the right from the position that photo was taken from, you would see this lot sticking out like a 1960s sore thumb;
