Do you use fake personal data for online enquiries ?

Do you use fake personal data for online enquiries ? I admit I do now. It got to the point when my e-mail was getting full of stuff obviously being gleaned from info I was putting into websites to obtain their services. Or making enquiries about them. We Buy Any car being typical, I’m not doing anything of an illegal nature, just ‘dead end’ stuff to avoid unwanted communications. So I now have a 'new name', non exists address, ditto mobile number and e-mail.

I keep a "Junk" email address at Yahoo for that sort of stuff. Makes validation possible where required but avoids the spam that follows.
I also do something similar, I still have my email address from when I was 15 active and as such, can direct things to there for enquiries where I don't always want a follow upsomeone@somewhere.com gets my spam.
999 Letsbe Avenue gets all my post.
0123 456 7890 gets all my phone calls.
Unless I need the address to be accurate for some reason I always use a fake one. Same with birthdays, city you live in etc. Security questions get random stuff made up, eg
First pets name: 1qwegfl\kf
Mothers Maiden name: 13480uerd

www.maildrop.cc lets you create a self-destructing email address for those kind of websites
