Pistonheads 16 year anniversary!
Discussion
Hi all,
Coincidentally I was reading another forum's anniversary thread and thought I'd check here as I know I've been a member for a while and wow, would you believe it, 16 years today!
I joined because I had my heart set on a TVR Tuscan S and wanted to know more.
I owned the TVR, lost it, got another one, sold it, then moved to Australia where I've been driving econoboxes ever since.
Keep driving, keep smiling and maybe one day I'll own a Pistonheads worthy car again

That would pre-date the adoption of the incredibly stupid Americanism in your thread title which appears not to realise that the "anni" in "anniversary" when not further qualified refers to celebrating/commemorating the number of years since an event occurred, rendering the word "year" a tautology which should be replaced by the suffix "th".
It's your 16th anniversary.
It's your 16th anniversary.
I'm a relative newcomer at only 7 years. I too came for the TVRs. I coveted ownership of a Chimaera, and regularly gawped at Racing Green's stock when it was based in Ash.
Sadly, I bottled out of making the leap back when there was a convergence of my budget and the cars' pricing. Now, with my budget eroded to almost nothing, and prices rising, I fear I'll never get my name on the V5 of a TVR...
