A friend of mine, in her eternal wisdom, has bought a "bargain" suitcase. The only downside? It's locked and nobody knows the combination. rofl

Any bright ideas on how to get it open? My only suggestion is to sit there and try every possible code - luckily it's only a 3 digit code!

Take it to an airport and ask very nicely if they could open it, it has a tsa lock.

About 5 seconds after typing "tsa007" into Google, you'll find a worryingly long list of sites all explaining exactly how to open up one of these locks...

It's been nearly 15 minutes since the first post, working through the numbers sequentially would likely have already got the code smile

You can usually feel a tiny click as you roll past the correct number as it engages. Just slowly roll though and you'll feel the combination.

Your answer is in the other comments, particularly by googling tsa007.

Might I suggest a angle grinder would get it open very quickly indeed!

Picking it is the easy bit, disposing of the severed hand in the handcuff is harder.
