Sensible Wedding Planners
Discussion
Oxymoron? Who knows but I'm willing to find out!
Simple question does anyone know of any out there. To be fair a half intelligent travel agent could sort this one but I don't have the time or possible connections to make it anything close to painless.
Plan is simplicity itself.
Day one - Fly out to destination. Hotel.
Day two - Travel to location (2 forms of transport required) Wedding. Travel back to Hotel, dinner at top restaurant (I can sort this one I know but whilst someone else is making the calls...)
Day three - Chill in City/have a place in mind...
Day four - fly home.
Guests unlikely but if any are able to drop everything and tag along on their own wallets I'm sure we'll stand a round and invite them to the UK party we'll be having in due course.
Oh and it needs to be done before 26th October 2017.

Tbh a good 2-3 hours on the internet and that could all be sorted by yourself.
I say 2-3 hours and mean a full day by the time you swear a lot and buy a new keyboard cause you threw the last one across the room in a rage.
Its 50% what I do every month planning a motorbike trip with 150% extra swearing with the extra 50% the flight, car rental, wedding bit( planning a wedding is a artform in itself tbh) and going to the shops to buy a new keyboard tbh.

Could try to sort myself but the problem is that i am very time poor and have a lot of other things on my plate at the minute meaning that i just don't have the time and energy to sort it all out in the time available. - Hence the request if anyone know a sensible Wedding Planner (or game travel agent) who can sort all this out for us with a call and a few e-mails.
As for location, as one poster asked, Iceland.
Whilst I don't have direct experience of doing a wedding abroad, can I suggest the following:
Choose your nice hotel in Iceland.
Speak to them, directly, and let them know your plans, and ask what local advice they can give. The chances are, the hotel staff will probably be able to arrange transport for you, and the meal at a nice restaurant, if you tell them what you want.
And then go from there. Much easier to try and use local knowledge if you can, than trying to book it through a UK agent.

Time short but plenty of time to ask on PH.
2 second google search.....

Exactly what my Wife and I did, but in Barbados. Choose your nice hotel in Iceland.

We got married in Iceland, stayed here: http://hotelbudir.is/Choose your nice hotel in Iceland.

And the church was a couple of hundred yards down the road: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/B%C3%BA%C3%B0a...
It was absolutely fantastic and all the guests had a great time. Most of them spent the week or part of the week hanging out with us in Reykjavic beforehand and enjoying the touristy activities.

Worst "I'm-a-powerfully-built-director-with-no-time-for-anything" thread ever.
Go to Kuoni, let them sort it out, pay for it.
Trust me if i were that powerfully built i would be paying someone else to do a lot more than we are planning.Go to Kuoni, let them sort it out, pay for it.
Thanks for the help to those that have posted.
My Google skills are sufficient to find a few names but this being PH and all there was a chance of a personal recommendation , of which it looks like we have had one!
