When I started my current job some 10 years ago a bloke had a go at me for offering him a cup of tea, on the grounds that the tea bags in the break room were his and I was offering him his own tea. Can anyone else trump such a petty wker?

All the biggest dick heads I've ever met are men who think they're hard. Even if they are handy and like a fight, it doesn't seem to matter. They all seem dheads. It's just something I've noticed over the years.
Try it, think of a guy you know who thinks he's hard, See?

I've nothing against guys who can fight by the way. I'd imagine it's a valuable asset. But there's no need to ever start telling people, strangers, anyone really how tough you are.

On topic, I worked with a guy who constantly lectured his team on the value of honesty and hard work. Then he sold a VW Beetle to one of them- it looked immaculate, and he said it had needed no bodywork from new. (This was in the days before they were 'classics'.)

Anyway few weeks later, one of the running boards fell off. And revealed that it and the sill were largely made of filler and old copies of the Yorkshire Post. Which conveniently had dates on. Did he apologise, offer to refund the money? Of course not.

What's just happened to all the posts on this thread? Was up to 6 pages this morning and everything had now gone except the first?
