Strange one so I'll cut it down..

Trying to find my great aunt and uncle as my nan is getting a bit worried. The aunt has Alzheimer's and the uncle was slowly coming down with the same as of about 6 months ago when my nan visited ( we're from eire) the phone number we have for them is now going unanswered and no return of messages. I have the address of the apt but I can't find much. I called the nursing homes in the area but no luck. It's an address on manor court road hanwell.. would anyone in the area know of any points of contact ie community centre's or the likes? I know we could jump in a plane but my nan is in her 80s now and it's all a bit much..

I'd contact London Borough of Ealing (I suspect that's their borough) social services and articulate your concerns.

Your biggest issue is probably data protection. If you phone up any organisation asking if Fred Smith uses the facilities or lives there, they won't be able to say anything useful?

You may want to try local FB groups to Hanwell. Post up a recent as possible photo of them and ask if anyone knows them eg https://www.facebook.com/groups/hanwellfriends/?re...

I would hope that this is the type of work that the police could do, perhaps via your local police station?

Perhaps. Data protection is a gift for the terminally lazy. The closer to 5pm you call, the more likely it is that they can't help due to DP.

Red Cross? They found my Nan's cousin after WW2 in Kiev. Eire to London should be a doddle.

Good luck.

If you have the Full address and they are family members, you can call your local police to get the local police in the area to go round and check on them, I would state that you call them everyday but have not been able to get hold of them for 4+ more days now. due to there condition they should be able to send someone round,

Had similar situation recently, if you have an address, write to the neighbours? Ask if they've seen them and for them to contact you etc?

Bit of a long shot but have they ever played golf? Brent Valley Golf Club has a very close nit community, i used to be a member but sadly no longer live near there. If they did give them a call im sure someone will be able to help.

To add to the answers, we had the police knock at our door recently asking if we had seen one of our neighbours. The story was his brother phoned him every day, but he hadn't answered for 3 days.

As it happened I had seen him that day and all was well, but I was impressed with the police attendance non the less!

You could pay for a local taxi firm to go there.
You could send a pizza/takeaway there.

I went for a long run once and i asked a pizza place to deliver home. I then reminded them as they were about to set out, that i would need to be home to pay for the delivery. He then picked up the keys to his bosses E Class. smile

Thinking outside the box.
