If you want to post it publicly, best add some detail in too.

Otherwise keep it in your head.

To be fair they knew what they were signing up for when starting work for Deliveroo. Protesting about working conditions after being employed by them is pretty backward.

We got a takeaway delivered by robot a few weeks ago (Just Eat). It was pretty quick, no pointless chitchat, and no tips. It was fast, easy and cheap. Deliveroo riders should enjoy it while it lasts, because they don't have a longterm future.

Protesting about a significant change to those working conditions is what they are doing though.

They mucked up an order we made a few weeks ago and I got a full refund plus £15 credit for my next order. They mucked up the next order by forgetting part of it, so I got £5 credit back for £2 worth of missing items... eventually I think I will have to never pay for food ever again.

the irony of "get a real job" as well, like cycling around a city for 12 hours picking up and delivering food is easy. Only getting paid for the hours you are needed not the hours you are able to work sounds great until you need to pay bills and don't want to just hang around in a uniform with a bike and no money for hours on end. I am not saying they are exploited but to say it's easy is wkerism.

From what I read there is 2 options for working for Deliveroo. 1) Take an hourly wage, plus £1 per drop, or 2) Not paid a hourly wage, but more money per drop.

I think like any of these industries, they work for some people and not for others.

The future has arrived. Skynet will actually be disgruntled delivery robots, dissatisfied with working conditions, due to becoming self aware during the evening dinner rush, in early 2018.
