Saw this yesterday and, with purely physics in mind, thought it was quite dangerous - is there something about these vehicles i don't know ? are they designed to just have weight right at the top? would it, as i suspect, roll over on any roundabout taken at over 15mph?

I expect it's ok. The car isn't as heavy as it looks (mostly fresh air) and the truck is heavier than it looks.

If it goes under a bridge that is slightly lower then yes, it could be.

If he delivered two vehicles, I think it would have been better practice to have the top vehicle unloaded first followed by the second vehicle at the next destination,m.

Maybe, but then you have to move the top one twice.

Why not just lower the top bit once the lower car has been taken off.

Dunno, maybe he's got a 200 yard journey before putting another car on the bottom?

Will still be a tonne and a quarter, on the end of what is effectively a lever, I suspect the operating instructions say to load the top only when the bottom is occupied.

He should have at least lowered the bed. That would be a bit strange to drive!

These are quite easy to roll, our lorry driver rolled our last one with 2 cars on board and a trailer.hehe
