too early? tongue out It's T-2 months people! Got to allow for internet ordering...

BTW I'm thinking primarily for your other half / family not yourselves you selfish lot! Might help to get share some ideas about.

I'm thinking genuine fitbit for the missus. She's been using a cheap Xiaomi Mi band 2 OLED Display (20 quid if you want a cheap one) I got from banggood so far.

Thing is they're all getting quite pricey now (& complicated?) so then I started thinking about an apple watch as they do all that stuff (I presume) and she likes her iphone. But then it's getting even more pricey; what to do. Any thoughts on the fitbits?

Various Playmobil for the child.

That's very kind, but you don't have to buy me anything as I don't really do Christmas these days.

I went from a Fitbit flex to a Apple Watch (gen 0) back to my the flex and then to the mi band 2 and it’s the best of the lot I think

The Apple Watch for me was just overkill and the battery charging daily really annoyed me

Plus Fitbit doesn’t interact with apple health at all and the 3rd party paid app that transfers the data doesn’t work all that well - personally I genuinely believe (cost differential aside) that the band2 is the best all round tracker and notification device

I too am looking for inspiration for my sister this year. Apparently, we are doing some sort of secret santa in our family. Budget of $75.

I got Mrs. 1879 a subscription to the Cohorted beauty box. She's the type who gets all excited about pinching all the toiletries from hotel bathrooms so it's right up her street. She'll actually get the first one in a week or two but I've told her it's her Xmas present so she's not expecting anything else. £35 pcm: https://www.cohorted.co.uk/black-edition

As per usual the wife and I won't be getting each other much if anything. Not much spare cash and two kids to spend on. I'll be happy with a bottle of whisky.

The kids demands change weekly, my daughter is turning out to be a girly girl and wants Barbie stuff and possibly one of those robotic pet type things, my son is into anything Star Wars / space and is also keen to get into skateboarding so quite an easy decision there. I might, if funds allow, get a PS4 for the family wink My son really wants to play more Minecraft and it's not so great for him on a laptop, I want to play Gran Turismo biggrin

Christ.

I’ve got a Kitchen Aid and it takes around twenty minutes to make a cake. Have you told her she needs to plug it in? Or is she cooking it with a Bunsen Burner? Perhaps buy her an oven for Christmas.

The supply isn't the limiting factor, it's that I only have one mouth! I'm trying to up my work rate lick

Yesterday was something like a victoria sponge, but with homemade lemon curd in it, lemon zest and some type of creamed marshmallow coating with coconut. It's bloody brilliant.

nom nom nom

Apparently we're making bread as a thing to do together (I'd rather do another type of kneading, but hey-ho). Which is nice as carbs have been absent from my diet this week biggrin
