I've never been able to keep shirts tucked in because my torso is apparently longer than it should be. They always ping up.

You can get extra long shirts but the sleeves are then far too long.

Does anyone know of a supplier of shirts with long bodies and normal sleeves?

Custom made by a tailor? Unless cost is an issue.

Charles Tyrwhitt shirts. Always generous length and you can choose the sleeve length to suit. Good postal service and good price for the quality.

How tall are you?

I’m 6”4 but a usual 32” leg so probably fit the bill. TM Lewin for a slim fit shirt and I have a 36” arm.

They can take them up for £6 if you check their website. Body of the shirt goes down well over my arse so no issues tucking in.

If you are buying crap off the shelf nothing will fit.

X2 (although 6ft6 with 35” length). The 36” arm length is key though, 34.5” is shorter in body length. I wear fitted myself as weighing in at 17 stone at the moment ha.

I used to have the same problem with next shirts pinging up as you say.

You need shirt stays.

You may laugh but they are not actually that uncomfortable. You can also get ones that clip to your socks but the newer style are better.

There is no other real solution BTW!!

Has anyone in the history of mankind paid full price for a CT shirt? You'll get emails and junk mail for the rest of your life.

One option is to tuck the shirt into your pants (UK definition, not US). Apparently works.

As with the chaps above, Charles Tyrwhitt slim fit have always worked for me and I'm fairly oddly proportioned in a similar way. The neck sizes can be a little tight so order a 1/2" up.

rofl Great advice, buy normal shirts and get Raja Daswani to make several of these for you. He meets you in a hotel room, takes your measurements (inside leg and all that). Initially the trousers will look like this but they will be fine at the second fitting!!!

I've got a few CT shirts (done the 4-for offers a couple of times) 'slim fit' is not slim fit as most people would know it, so biffers can buy it knowing it will probably fit.

But.... Where the arms meet the body, the cut feels weird to me. Like its all twisted up somehow and I find myself trying to adjust it all day when I wear them.
