Simple CCTV setup

I was thinking of gifting someone a simple CCTV thats easy to install and maintain for someone abroad

ideally it should

i) easy to install
ii) no need to have it hooked to a tv or dvd as electricity is not very reliable
iii) should record images on a memory stick which can be cleaned up and deleted weekly
iv) it will not be exposed to direct sunlight or rain


any suggestions and links welcome

Hikvision gear is really good but if you want something easy to setup then probably something like the Netgear Arlo or Nest Camera's.

You will need a pretty big memory stick...

REALLY happy with my HIKVISION set up
