Anyone any funny stories about when they were a child, things they did or happened to them etc? Here's mine.

It was when I was about 14 and was on a Cadet summer camp. We were staying in tents on an RAF base which had a main road running through the middle of it, at one side were the mess room, accomodation etc and on the other side were various buildings including a social club. On the last night we had been having a BBQ and get together at the club. Due to the main road we got minibussed back to the tents.

Walking back to my tent I noticed some on the ground by another tent, being dark I couldn't properly see what it was, do I went off to find one of the CCF officers. He had a look and wasn't sure either, so RAF police, bomb disposal etc were sent for.

Turned out someone had left a water bottle on the floor.

Must have been a really grim childhood if that's considered 'funny'.

Maybe funny was the wrong way of putting it, it certainly wasn't my intention to offend anyone. We had been told at the start of the week to report anything suspicious which is what I did.
