Stuff you'll never get round to doing

In a similar vein to the OP, I'd love to smuggle a few tonnes of cocaine from a South American jungle lab and have it dropped from a small plane to a waiting boat where it's then taken ashore and distributed under the cover of darkness and protection from the police I've paid off. I'm not even interested in making any money from it, I just want to plan it and speak to the shady characters involved on my PAYG phones that get binned after every call and watch it all go down through my night vision goggles.
I may have watched too much Cocaine Cowboys on Netflix
Back in the real world I desperately want to clear out my garage and paint the floor / walls to make it a nicer place to spend a few hours...been wanting to do that for just over 6 months now...

I knew one of these guys in my youth. http://www.5men104years.com/ It's not on my to-do list!Shakermaker said:

Pull the emergency handle on a packed commuter train or hit the red stop button on an escalator.
I've hit the emergency stop button on an airport moving walkway before. It's not that dramatic mickk said:
I would like to think it was an instant stop and people went flying as in a cartoon, bet it wasn't though.
there used to be a moving walkway in Don Muang airport (the old Bangkok airport) that did stop instantly causing the comedy throwing forward of people, most now just slow to a gradual stop sadlymickk said:

No. It came to a stop quickly but smoothly - also because I suspect anything that would bring it to an instant stop would have to be a sacrifical part, whereas this is just some very tight gearing when the power is cut so it doesn't carry any real momentum of its own. I was on a single lane road yesterday in a medium sized van with plenty of poke, if you've driven a van or a sizeable 4x4 (or even a Volvo) you'll know the sensation such vehicles give.
As the road climbed a steep hill it turned into dual carriageway so I nailed it and pulled out to overtake the slower moving traffic, some pokey little s
tbox pulled out right in front and pootled up holding me (and after glancing in my mirror) everyone else up who wanted to crack on.
I would have dearly loved to have coupled up to the back bumper and pushed it up the hill
That wouldn't have gone well....
