Favourite phrases only found on Pistonheads
Discussion
I must admit I've found some phrases or terminology used on this forum as quite amusing or interesting sometimes. I can't say I've ever heard these anywhere else.
My favourites are:
Highly polished road captain
Dominate the stairs
Brake light operated indicators
Does anybody else have any favourites from Pistonheads?

Those aren't exclusive to PH... but are more Americanisms than Britishisms.Itch I've got to scratch...
I've wondered if there is a PH glossary I can refer to as there are a few terms I haven't figured out like "custard" (Google is of little help in this context, fun fact: platypuses are the only animals that produce both milk and eggs, making them the only animals that can make their own custard).

Jeez, that's embarrassing. Perhaps they should take their finger off the trigger if they can't spell the car they intend on buying...https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=15...
