Have you ever been barred from somewhere

When I was 7 I got asked to leave the neighbours house for spilling juice on the floor.

Several bars/nightclubs for being a total mess over the years, that's it, totally pedestrian.

I have been banned from here before, too.

Banned from here accidentally after reporting a spam post, admin kicked me instead hehe

Banned from the Civic Type R forum for having an err controversial opinion about Jade Goody on a freedom of speech thread, a few people pointed out kicking me while arguing about freedom of speech was a bit ironic so I was in-kicked

Refused entry into a bar at 8:30-9pm one night because we looked a bit similar to a description of 2 people who’d been causing trouble. Doormen had literally just seen us park up, a bright Orange Focus ST and blue Astra VXR are hardly subtle in a quiet street!

I've been kicked out of two pubs in my life. Both on the same night. I couldn't drink whisky for 20 years after that night.

Not kicked as such but when entering a nightclub with few mates i was singled out and escorted back out on the basis of looking under 21 and not having an id on me.

I was 34.

Banned from a restaurant review company’s office after I walked in, spoke to them like st and then demanded their names so I could write a scathing review about them.

Can you guess how they had acted when they visited my pub a couple of weeks before? hehe

Horrid group of people who were out purely to ruin the lives of others rather than offer reviews. Glad to say their business went under a few months later as other restaurants and pubs found out who they were and what they were doing.

I was once kicked out of the AU night at the tower night club in hull. However this was apparently at my own request, as the bouncers had also kicked out my mate, so I apparently asked if they would mind also chucking me out. Apparently they literally did this, I got up, brushed myself off, came back and thanked them then staggered off into the night. I spent a week wondering why my knee hurt, as I had no recollection of the events (or anything after about 10pm!) from the previous night.
The following I was picked out of line and give vip access, as id apparently made the doormen’s night!

3rd night on a 2 week holiday in Greece with my mates. Kicked out of the apartments at 2am.

Not the best start to a holiday

Banned from the Game of Thrones thread for suggesting that even there was a no spoilers rule, there would inevitably be spoilers and people could possibly refrain from clicking on the GoT thread between the US showing at 2am and the UK showing at 8pm so as not to ruin their excitement.

Mind you, they are a funny lot in there.

If anybody posted "That was amazing" or "Ooh, didn't expect that", it was a spoiler rolleyes

I think me + mates were kicked out of one of the beer tent bars at Le Mans 2004. None of us can really remember.....

It was a good night I think.

I got kicked out and barred from 2 pubs/bars in one night. Split up with my then girlfriend went on a bender. Got involved with a hen do when I probably shouldn’t have. Ended up getting a slap, kicked out and then barred.

Went to a pub over the road, got even more wrecked, got into an argument with a chef and ended up punching him in the mouth. Got barred from there too. Bad times.

I am the least confrontational person you will ever meet. A mixture of lots of booze and being in a foul mood didn’t mix very well. I don’t drink anymore.

My ex kicked me out of our house on Christmas Day 3 years ago.

She actually ended up going to her mothers that day so I had some beers, a pizza and watched my favourite top gear special.

I went boxing day and it's all been good since.

Too many places, sadly frown Mainly in Sydney due to the Aussie’s bloody stupid drinking laws. Notable incidents include:

  • Ivy (twice)
  • Jacksons on George
  • Bar 555
  • Shangri-La
ETA. I had my youth membership of the Royal Yacht Squadron withdrawn after accidentally getting out of my tree on Pimms and spending a lovely afternoon doing roly polys on the front lawn during Cowes Week after we had to retire following breaking the boat. Apparently, it was behaviour unbecoming of a member of the RYS frown
