Hey guys,

First time this has happened to me after using ebay to sell for quite a number of years. A buyer has opened a dispute to say that their item wasn't delivered. I have sent them the tracking information showing that it was signed for from their addess.

I have just gone to purchase something today via my Paypal and the buggers want £25 off me due to this dispute as paypal need to recover costs! What costs? does the buyer get an instant refund these days? Even though it shows it was delivered?

Unless the dispute has been closed in their favour, the money will only be on hold from your account. It's annoying.

It wasn't delivered to them though (according to the buyer).

You need to speak to Royal Mail.

As the sender, you are responsible for getting the item to the buyer.

Ah Ok thats a bit better, I thought they had paid the bugger back. I even have a image of their signature from the delivery company!

Although it could well be that the buyer is trying it on, that's not necessarily the case.

A couple of days ago, I ordered something from Amazon Prime for evening delivery. Suddenly get a notification on my phone that it's been delivered - despite the fact that it clearly wasn't.
Checked my cameras which showed the delivery driver took it to my neighbours. The house numbers in my road are unusual - they're sequential - so he'd assumed that number 3 was next to number 1.

Entirely possible that RM have screwed up something with the delivery.
