If you look at the prize breakdown for Euromillions on 2nd February 2018, people who matched 5 main numbers and one lucky star win absolutely nothing! How the hell does that work out??

Even if they can claim the next prize down which is only £24,506.20p for matching 5 numbers then that’s hardly fair. The odds of matching 5 plus one lucky star are far less than getting 5 numbers, so why do they get nothing?
The odds of getting 5 plus one star is like 6 numbers on the old national lottery.

Looking at the prize breakdown will they be barred from claiming anything if the get 5 and 1 star?

Just had to go and see that myself.

Wow! I'd be extremely pissed off I'd got 5 & 1 and won sod all. How on Earth does that work?

You're misunderstanding it.

It's saying that there were no UK prize winners in that prize band so the total UK amount available is zero.

Aren't the payouts based on how many people get the numbers?

I.E. if 2000 people get 4 numbers, and 100 get 3 numbers, you'll get more money for 3 numbers?

This 2K for 6 numbers in total on the 13th Feb wouldn't have been much to celebrate either!

Match 4 + 2 Stars 42 12 £2,107.50 £25,290.00
