Google translate gives:

“But there was a tangle, a cannon, a lion, a lion, a dog”

and suggests it is Irish.

No idea if that’s correct or not?

Ondreaden is able to occupy dwelling prison, hythan is able to put dwelling free,

Certainly the closest to what I've been told. Apparently it is very old English.

It certainly isn't Irish. There is no 'W' or 'Y' in Irish.
